How we design Superculture™ ingredients

We partner with the most innovative food and beverage manufacturers, and selectively take on product briefs for custom Superculture™ ingredients. Our customers bring us their potential product matrices, manufacturing constraints, and end-consumer benefits.

We utilize our Superculture™ ingredient platform to scour a massive combinatorial space through computation, wetlab automation, and our proprietary analytical chemistry and microscopy technologies. Typical design processes take 3-6 months, and include benchtop, pilot, and commercial scale application testing.

We supply custom Superculture™ ingredients directly to our partners at commercial scales, and work hand-in-hand with them to ensure a delightful product experience for end-consumers.
